Space is a collection of relations; the landfill at Nauerna is a collection of relations. Therefore the site should not be considered as one but in fragments. I myself am an outsider, looking from and towards the site from a distance. The complexities of Nauerna and the challenges that this presents to a spatial designer interests me.
The research focuses on three fragments: history, voices and morphology.

The fragmented approach is brought to the site again. It resulted in three interventions on the landfill in the future park. The subject determines the location. The fragments are not merely a mass of waste formed into an extensive recreational park, but integrate the heritage of the site.
For each of the interventions I wrote a narration, taking place in the year 2080; exactly one hundred years after the landfill was designated, exactly two hundred years since the polder was created. The first part is a dialogue between the villager and the maintainer. The second part is descriptive on the spatial conditions and instructions of use.
